Distribution and abundance of ictioplancton in the southern zone of Chile, located between Puerto Montt and Laguna San Rafael. 90 oceanographic stations were carried out in the area between October 18 and November 11 of 1995.

The study area covers the geographical area from Puerto Montt to Laguna San Rafael.

Métodos de Amostragem

Oblique zooplankton trawls were developed with a bongo net with 60 centimeter diameter and a mesh size of 0.35 millimeter, between the surface and a depth of 200 m. In the case of stations with depths less than 200 meter or near the bottom at the shallowest sampling stations.
