Description
The aim is to provide a general view of the Chilean and Antarctic Echinoderms Collection of the National Museum of Natural History, Chile. The data set 1504 records of 117 species collected from 1853 to 2018. These species belong to the five classes of Phylum Echinodermata: Crinoidea (1), Asteroidea (64), Ophiuroidea (27), Echinoidea (18) and Holothuroidea (7). There are both dry and alcohol-preserved specimens.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 1,504 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
